Buying a College Laptop
There are a lot of things to think about when you get to college but whether you’re looking into class schedules or Texas Electric Companies you’ve got to have a laptop to do it. Here are a few tips for college students to keep in mind when searching for a school laptop.
Weight: you’re going to want to pay extra attention to how much your laptop weighs – if it’s too heavy you won’t want to carry it and then it’s useless. Try for less than 6 or 7 pounds and make sure you get a good carrying case to make hauling it easier.
Battery Life: you don’t want to have to choose your classroom seat based on what’s near the outlets so choose a laptop with a good strong battery life. And while you’re at it, make sure it doesn’t get too hot!
Processor: get the best processor you can afford to ensure everything runs fast and smooth on your new machine. Also purchase some virus protection to keep your laptop clean with so many new emails and attachments coming in.
